Radio Planning Engineer

Konnektor AS is, on behalf of a client, seeking candidates for vacant positions as Radio Planning Engineers in a mobile telecom company. Our client is active in many countries around the world. Their employees have excellent opportunities for career development within a global organization.

The offered positions are in a company delivering prepaid and post paid mobile voice services, as well as mobile Internet access solutions for the high end market. Main technologies applied are GSM, GPRS and EDGE, to be expanded with WCDMA and HSDPA in the near future.

Responsibilities will include:
- Planning of radio network for network evolution and fulfillment of license requirements
- Frequency planning, coverage simulation and verification
- Initiate improvements and monitor capacity, quality and cost in the radio network

Expected qualifications:
- Bachelor or higher degree in Telecommunications
- Specialist education or experience in a similar position handling Radio Network Planning
- Good communications skills

The right candidate will be offered competitive terms. Location: Africa (details currently not released). Duration of contract is 1 to 3 years, with possibilities for extension.
